Knight's Tour

Visit every square exactly once with the knight

What is a Knight's Tour?

The Knight's Tour is a classic puzzle: move a single chess knight so it visits every square on the board exactly once. It appears in chess literature as far back as the 9th century, and mathematicians have studied it seriously since Leonhard Euler's analysis in 1759.

Every one of the 298 stages on this site has been verified by a computer solver, so each board is guaranteed to be solvable. Play free in your browser — no account, no install. Your progress is saved in this browser.
